What are the dim sum hours?
Our full dim sum menu is available from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM. After 3:00 PM until closing, we offer a limited dim sum menu.
Are there catering options?

Is the restaurant open 7 days a week? If not, what days are they closed?
We’re open every day except Wednesday! Stop by any other day from 8 AM to 9 PM—we’d love to serve you!
Is there parking?
Yes! There is paid parking available adjacent to the restaurant, and there is also metered street parking available nearby. We look forward to seeing you!
Are there vegetarian choices?

Do you serve alcohol, or can guests bring their own - BYOB? Is there a corkage fee?
Yes! We offer a small selection of beer, wine, and spirits. Guests are also welcome to bring their own beverages. A $20 corkage fee applies.
Can I place an order for delivery or takeout?
We do offer takeout, but delivery is currently not available, unless you are placing a catering order. We can deliver before 2pm for catering orders over $250 from Hawaii Kai to Salt Lake. We don’t currently offer online ordering, but you can view our menu online at happydayshawaii.com/menu and place a pickup order by calling us at (808) 738-8666.
Are reservations required for large parties?
Yes, reservations are recommended for parties of 8 or more.

Our most popular menu items include Beef Broccoli, Black Pepper Steak, Char Siu, Cold Ginger Chicken, Gon Lo Mein, Jai, and a variety of Dim Sum dishes like Shu Mai, Har Gow, and Pan Fry Char Siu Look Fun. Customers also love our house specialties and flavorful seafood dishes!
What are your hours of operation?
Our hours of operation are Monday to Sunday, from 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM. We are closed on Wednesdays.
Do you offer combo meals or family-style dining?
Yes, we offer combo meals and family-style dining through their set course menu. These menus are designed for groups, providing a variety of dishes to share, offering both variety and value. Options include Lunch for 10, Dinner for 4, 6, 7, 8 and 10 people, each featuring a selection of dishes tailored to group dining. Yes, we have private rooms available for your special events, with a minimum $100 food order.
Is tip included on big parties?
Yes, there is an 18% tip included on parties of 8 or more.
Do you validate?
No, but the first 20 minutes of parking are free.
What are your private rooms like?
We have one private room, but also have partitions for private parties.
Do you offer take-out discounts?
Yes! We offer take-out discounts on dim sum before 11:30 AM. If you pay with cash, you get 15% off your dim sum order. If you pay by credit card, you get 10% off your dim sum order. Please note that your order must be picked up by 11:30 AM to qualify for the discount, and this is for take-out only.
